Vintage 44 Piece ART DECO Athenian Pattern CUTLERY CANTEEN – Isaac Ellis Ltd of Sheffield – 1930s. Here we have for sale a vintage 44 piece 6 place setting Art Deco cutlery canteen that was made by Isaac Ellis Ltd of Sheffield in the 1930s. The cutlery is in the Athenian pattern. It is in very good condition for its age with only minor wear & tear, marks and blemishes here and there. The handles are faux bone (composite material). A couple of pieces have been replaced with very similar ones in the past. This set comes in the original canteen case which is in excellent condition inside and out as pictured with again only minor wear & tear, marks and blemishes. The hinges and clasps are in full working order and the lid lifts smoothly to 90 degrees and stays upright unrestrained. The cutlery is complete for 6 settings and comprises 44 pieces in total, grouped as follows. 6 x Dinner Forks. 6 x Dinner Knives. 6 x Dessert Forks. 6 x Dessert Knives. 6 x Dessert Spoons. 6 x Tea Spoons. 6 x Cake Forks. 2 x Serving / Table Spoons. 1 x Canteen Case. 36cm x 26cm x 8cm.
